Balance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in Ozaukee County. Through our community-based programs, we empower children and adults with IDD to reach their full potential while fostering understanding, acceptance, and inclusion within our community.
We are seeking passionate individuals to join our volunteer Board of Directors.
As a board member, you will play a vital role in:
- Providing strategic guidance and oversight to ensure Balance fulfills its mission
- Contributing to financial stewardship and long-term sustainability
- Helping develop and strengthen community partnerships
- Participating in fundraising initiatives and events
- Attending regular board meetings to review programs and make key decisions
- Serving as an ambassador for Balance in the community
We welcome candidates from diverse professional backgrounds who can bring fresh perspectives and expertise to our organization. Whether you have experience in business, healthcare, education, finance, nonprofit management, or other fields, your skills can make a difference.
We're particularly interested in individuals who have connections to Ozaukee County and the IDD community through their careers, family relationships, or personal interests.
