Join us November 13 for the 2014 Empty Bowls luncheon benefiting the Family Sharing Food Pantry. This event offers the opportunity to select a unique bowl to take home and also enjoy a hot bowl of soup, breads, desserts and macaroni and cheese generously donated by local businesses.
Keep in mind if you are looking for a community service project, consider coordinating a visit to an art studio where you and a few friends or a youth group can make bowls that can be donated to Family Sharing for the annual Empty Bowl event. We will accept any handcrafted bowls made during the year and store them at Family Sharing until the event, where the bowls are displayed and given out to attendees. Art Trooper, in Fox Point and Glaze, in Thiensville are two places to consider.
