Who We Are

GiGi's Playhouse Milwaukee is part of a national organization with 55+ playhouses around the United States and one in Mexico. The Milwaukee location has been open since March 21, 2015 and is run by a volunteer board of directors and one paid employee. We maintain a storefront to offer our services in Fox Point. The first GiGi's Playhouse opened in Hoffman Estates, IL in 2003; what began as a mother's vision to change the perception of those with Down syndrome, and maximize her daughter's successes, has evolved into a global movement of acceptance.

What We Do

GiGi's Playhouse is an achievement center for people with Down syndrome and their families. We offer free educational and therapeutic programming aimed at improving the lives and abilities of people with Down syndrome. These programs are offered from birth through adulthood. GiGi's Playhouse was created to be an inspirational and dedicated place for families to celebrate their child and benefit from FREE, purposeful programs that unleash joy, confidence and continuous improvement. Our Playhouses empower children and adults to achieve their “Best of All” and to pursue their dreams.
