Who We Are
Preceptor Home Health, Hospice and Palliative Care has been providing quality health care for people more than 20 years. Preceptor is always looking for hospice volunteers who would be willing to visit with our patients.
What We Do
Volunteers who visit provide a gentle touch, a listening ear, or simply sit quietly by someone's side. Be that person who provides steadfast support to those facing end-of-life. Hospice volunteers engage in conversation, listen to stories, read books, newspapers, magazines, or share stores. Share a talent such as singing, crafting, playing board games or cards. You can volunteer with a friend, co-worker, sibling, spouse, or on your own. You can be a college student looking for volunteer hours. Are you retired? Are you a Veteran who would enjoy visiting with another Vet? We train and provide you with the tools you need for your visits. You can visit based on your time and personal calendar. As a volunteer, you are gifted with witnessing awe-inspired moments of joy, laughter, and profound reflection while sharing and creating memories.
