Who We Are
Preceptor Home Health, Hospice and Palliative Care has been providing quality health care for people for the past 20 years. Care is provided in your home - let us bring the care and compassion to you - no matter where home may be.
Preceptor Hospice provides end of life care to individuals who have a life limiting illness. Hospice is a philosophy of care that focuses on providing comfort and quality of life. Hospice does not seek to hasten of prolong the dying process but instead strives to help patients that truly live until they die, encouraging them to take part in activities they enjoy or that bring fulfillment, by allowing them to live their life to the fullest.
What We Do
Preceptor provides support to the mind, body and spirit of patients and their families. Preceptor Hospice is always looking for volunteers who can visit with our hospice patients. Visits may include reading, playing games, cards, reading, writing letters, providing quality of life to patients who are at the end of their life. Our volunteer coordinator would enjoy speaking with anyone interested about this amazing opportunity of giving back. You can volunteer with a friend, co-worker, sibling, spouse, or on your own. You can be a college student looking for volunteer hours. Are you retired and looking for an awesome opportunity or a Veteran who would enjoy visiting with another Vet? We train and provide you with the tools you need for your visits. You can visit based on your time and personal calendar. We respect and appreciate your time.
