About Us

Volunteering is a necessary aspect of meeting the most pressing needs facing our nation: health, senior care, poverty, disasters, illiteracy, and homelessness. The Volunteer Center of Ozaukee County (VCOC), by promoting volunteerism and community activism, increases the community’s volunteer workforce and directly contributes to the productivity of nonprofit agencies who serve the community. Our goal is to connect volunteers with meaningful opportunities to serve in their community.

As of February 2017, the Volunteer Center of Ozaukee County has been managed by the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee.

Since taking on management of VCOC, NPC has hosted an open house for Agency Partners to give feedback about their needs and the direction of VCOC as well as scheduled the first workshop in its monthly series, free for Agency Partners.
